During the Winter months (Nov – Mar). If you do not have four wheel drive or all wheel drive ask a reservationists about our easy access properties. We strongly recommended that you purchase trip insurance in case a property is inaccessible due to winter weather.
There is no daily housekeeping, but the property is cleaned/inspected and sanitized before your arrival. If you are staying for an extended period of time, we can schedule a cleaning for an additional service. Contact our office for details.
Sheets & Towels are provided at each of our rental properties.
Most of our rental properties do offer Wi -Fi. If you need WiFi, please ask a reservationist to ensure the property you are renting does offer it.
The Wi-Fi password can be found in the information binder that is at each rental property.
Some of the properties have air conditioning. If you need central air, please confirm this with a reservationist. Some homes have window AC units and not central AC.
Many of our rentals do offer a hot tub as an amenity. You may search for this on our site or ask a reservationist.
Some of our properties are pet friendly.
Smoking is not permitted inside any of our rental homes. However, smoking is permitted on porches and decks. Please dispose of all cigarette butts in a neat, clean and safe manner. Smoking inside a rental property is considered damage and will be bill accordingly.
We offer contact-less check in. All of our rental homes have either a lockbox or an electronic door code. You will call us between 3 & 5pm on the day of your arrival to receive your code. You will go straight to the rental property.
One and two bedroom homes offer a 3pm check in time and an 11 am check out time. Three plus bedroom homes offer a 4pm check in time and 10 am check out time.
Depending on the reservations and availability early check ins and late check outs may be possible. Any must be approved by the office.
We provide written directions to the rental property from the area you are coming. You will need to print these off and make sure you bring them with you. Most GPS/Navigation Systems will not provide accurate directions so we recommend that you use the directions that we provide!
Call our office or if it’s after hours call our after hours number that is posted at the property and is listed on your directions. . Please be sure to leave your name, number where you can be reached, & the property you are staying in when leaving a message!
We have properties that have wood-burning fireplaces & some that have gas logs. Firewood is not provided for wood-burning fireplaces or outdoor fire pits.
You can find firewood at most convenience & grocery stores in the area.
All units are furnished with household items such as: dishes, silverware, glassware, bedspreads, pillows, and blankets. You need to provide your toiletries, paper products, dish soap, laundry detergent and whatever else you might need during your vacation! We do provide you with a starter roll of toilet paper, paper towels and small hand soaps.
Prior to check-out, we ask that you leave the home in the same general condition as you found it. Wash & put away dishes, empty & wipe out fridge, straighten and put back furniture as you found it, strip beds and put all used sheets and towels in the bathtub closet to the washer & dryer, take all trash unless its only 2 kitchen bags which you may leave in the trash container at property, lock all windows and doors, return keys (if applicable) to lockbox and call office to notify us of your departure.
If you realize you’ve left something at the home and you are no longer in the area, please contact us immediately. Contacting us as soon as you realize this has been left will give us a better chance of retrieving the items prior to a new renter entering the home. Once a new renter has checked into the home, we cannot look for the missing items until they have departed. We are not responsible for any items lost or stolen at the property, however we will do everything that we can to locate and send back your items. Items sent back will incur a shipping fee dependent on the weight via UPS and will require a credit card for the charges prior to shipment.
Please know that we care very much about ensuring you have your items back safe-and-sound. However, we cannot guarantee all items will be found on inspection. If we should find your lost items, we will confirm with you and take credit card information for the return shipping. If the item is not found, we will still notify you once the premises has been searched.
You just call our office and we can help you with that.
If you have to cancel, we ask that you notify the office as soon as possible and in writing via email. If the same property can be re-rented for the exact nights of your scheduled stay, you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If the property cannot be re-rented you forfeit any deposit. We do offer Trip Interruption/Cancellation Insurance. *Please remember that the trip insurance premium you pay is non-refundable.
